About Me

I'm Siobhan M. Perry, an environmental photographer based out of Saint Louis, MO. My appreciation for nature began as a small child who collected sparkly rocks from local creek banks. To hone my interests, I earned biological and environmental sciences degrees, specializing in urban wetlands and how their structures are altered by water. These days, I enjoy photographing wildlife and surveying landscapes to obtain short- and long-term data.

What I do

My shop focuses on nature-based photographic prints in multiple formats.

Along with my Canon camera, I hold a remote pilot's license and utilize a DJI drone for aerial photography and videography. Paired with base-and-rover RTK survey equipment, I can push beyond a 2D image to photogrammetrically create orthomosaics; digital elevation, surface, and terrain models; and 3D point cloud and textured models to retrieve areal data (e.g., elevation or topographical changes between survey periods).

Who's behind the name

Penn & MoDi is named after our two cats.

Penny is a territorial blue tortoiseshell who loves taking afternoon naps in slivers of sunlight. Moe is a black domestic shorthair with chaotic-neutral energy and a relentlessly unbound enthusiasm for perfecting the expansiveness of his operatic repertoire.
